Expert Impact Window Installation in Indian River County, FL

Impact window installation in Indian River County is not just a home upgrade. It is a code-driven decision for many property owners. Coastal areas of Indian River County fall within Florida's Wind-Borne Debris Region, where design wind speeds reach 140 to 160 mph east of I-95. Homes within one mile of the coast must have impact-rated windows or approved opening protection on all glazed openings. Even properties west of I-95 face 150 mph design wind speed requirements under current Indian River County Building Division standards. Marlin Construction of IRC Inc handles the full installation process: site assessment, product selection with Florida Product Approval certification, proper framing verification, and coordination with the Indian River County Building Division for required inspections. Every opening is measured and matched to a product rated for your specific wind zone and exposure category. Whether you own a single-family home in Vero Beach, a property in Sebastian, or a structure near the barrier island, we install windows built to meet Florida Building Code 8th Edition requirements. Installing impact windows on all openings in your Vero Beach home may qualify you for wind mitigation credits on your Florida homeowner's insurance policy. Your insurance carrier determines the actual discount based on a wind mitigation inspection after installation is complete.

I can’t use enough superlatives when praising Marlin Construction of IRC. Mason, the owner, was professional throughout my conversion from shingle to metal roof. He communicates effectively, shows up when says he is going to, his crews are honest and hard working. I live in Broward County and I know there are issues when dealing with our building department. He plowed through the headaches of bureaucracy and got my building permit with no headaches to me. He did a thorough pre inspection and quoted me a very fair price and informed me of what I might expect during tear-off. The crews attention to detail, and daily clean up was much appreciated. This project came out so nice that I hired him the next day to replace my girlfriend’s roof in Davie. I was not disappointed with either job. I would highly recommend Mason to anyone thinking of replacing their roof. He is experienced in multi story, multi unit, as well as single family homes. He is honest, communicates well, and puts out a great product!

Mason and the team at Marlin Construction of IRC did an outstanding job installing our fence. Once the permit was approved, they completed the installation in just one day. The workmanship was excellent, and they even hauled away the old fence, leaving everything spotless. Their pricing was very fair, and Mason went above and beyond by securing city approval in record time — no small feat given how slow the process has been in the past. If you’re considering a new fence in South Florida, I highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Mason Marshall and Marlin Construction. They installed a beautiful new fence for us. Since we live in an HOA there are some extra hoops to jump through and Mason satisfied their requirements with a great attitude. The team that came to do the actual install was polite, neat and efficient. I would hire them again for our next project without hesitation.
